MultiVision Introduces High Performance NetServer Super 20 At IFSEC 2003

Hong Kong, 17 April 2003 - MultiVision Intelligent Surveillance Limited ("MultiVision"), a leading provider of digital video surveillance systems and solutions, will unveil the NetServer Super 20, its latest addition to the NetServer Super series of digital video surveillance solutions at its booth, N70 at IFSEC 2003. The event will be held at NEC Birmingham in the United Kingdom from May 19 to 22, 2003. The enterprise-class digital video recorder is designed to deliver high performance capabilities, offering real-time simultaneous display, recording, retrieval and playback on all its 20 channels, which is unmatched in the industry.

"Using the latest in hardware compression technology, MPEG-4, NetServer Super 20 is able to record up to 500 frames per second (fps) with resolutions of 352 x 288 on PAL while requiring minimum storage capacities. Users are able to adjust the frame rate for instant, alarm and schedule recordings to maximize video quality and storage. The NetServer Super 20 is ideal for mission-critical industries where reliability, scalability and availability of the solution are crucial."

Highlights of the NetServer Super 20 include:

l Improved recording frame rates on digital video recording with up to 500 fps on PAL and 600 fps on NTSC
l Intelligent signal loss detection feature which proactively prompts users on signal loss

MultiVision's NetServer Super 20 protects and future proofs customers of their investments. It seamlessly interoperates with MultiVision's digital video management and monitoring application, Unet Client Workstation (UCW). Leveraging UCW, users will be able to remotely monitor and control the NetServers in various locations via the Internet.
