MultiVision Announced TWO new products, digital surveillance with more and improved features and new digital surveillance system designed specifically for motor vehicles.

Birmingham UK May 2002 - MultiVision Intelligent Surveillance ("MultiVision") released today TWO latest digital surveillance products, NetServer Smart and NetServer Pro. NetServer Smart is a brand new product designed and developed for mobile professionals or motor/transport industries that it can provide security monitoring on the run. NetServer Pro is MultiVision latest digital video surveillance system with advanced features for faster frame rates and real-time monitoring and recording. These products are solutions developed and integrated by MultiVision in-house product development team, come and visit our stand and see a live demonstration.

MultiVision's latest products development are result of client and market demand for faster frame rate and processing features which can enhance monitoring and security quality. In addition, people are demanding more flexibility as to where they can use their surveillance solution.

NetServer Smart is MultiVision's latest development designed to cater specifically for mobile professionals or transportation industry where you will need to have access to security information on the run. It is designed to fit inside motor vehicles, for example, police car or buses, where it needs to perform security monitoring.

NetServer Smart has one model which can monitor up to four channels. Its size is relatively small (50mm x 197mm x 272 mm) in order to ease installation inside motor vehicles. Its features included, 20-30GB storage, 100fps (frames per second) display for all four channels and approximately 6.25 fps when recording and it runs on Window XP. It is a special product designed for this niche market.

On the other hand, NetServer Pro is the latest digital video surveillance system which has more features and functionalities for improved surveillance requirements. It provides noticeably faster frame rates at 25 fps (real time) as compared to 2.2 or 2.5 fps when all 16 cameras are monitoring and 6.25 fps when recording. It has been developed due to overwhelming demand for faster frame rate in monitoring and quality of display. NetServer Pro will be available in three models for 4, 8 and 16 channels.

NetServer Pro is enterprise class digital surveillance server which is ideally suited for corporate customers looking to enhance and/or upgrade its current security systems with newer, faster and more flexible digital surveillance. With the improved frame rate, it can provide true real-time monitoring and recording and clearer quality of pictures.

All these new systems work parallel with our proprietary remote monitoring application, UCW (Unet Client workstation). UCW integrates digital video recording and remote surveillance into one where you can monitor from remote locations regardless of cameras or monitoring locations. For NetServer Mobile, you will need to have wireless connection using UCW in order to retrieve images from the base vehicle.
